Mr. Christopher M.
Ruth is Senior Managing Director at Azimuth Capital Management LLC.
Mr. Ruth previously served in various roles at Comerica Asset Management and its affiliates, including Chief Investment Officer and Chief Market Strategist, where he oversaw the investment policy and asset allocation decisions for client accounts with assets under management totaling nearly $10 billion.
He also had substantial direct private and institutional client management responsibilities, and additionally co-managed its All-Cap equity growth strategy.
Prior to joining Comerica in 1991, he worked for another Michigan-based financial institution and started his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young.
Previously, he was employed as a Managing Director by Wilson, Kemp & Associates, Inc.
Mr. Ruth graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Accounting.
He has attained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Detroit, where he previously served as a past president and director.
He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
He has also completed a number of industry registration and examination requirements over the course of his career.
