Daniel James Barker

Mr. Daniel J.
Barker, CFA, is a Managing Partner & Portfolio Manager at Apis Capital Advisors LLC.
He serves as the Portfolio Manager for the Apis Capital Flagship and the Deep Value Funds.
Prior to founding Apis Capital in March 2004, Mr. Barker was a Managing Director at J&W Seligman & Company, New York, New York, where he was a Portfolio Manager.
Prior to J&W Seligman & Company, he worked for General Electric (“GE”) Investments in Stamford, Connecticut and London, England from 1994 through 1999.
While at GE Investments, he was a Vice President and worked as a European Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager for both emerging markets and international small-cap funds.
From 1990 through 1993, Mr. Barker also worked in Corporate Finance for GE Information Services in Rockville, Maryland and London, England.
He received a B.B.A.
in Finance from the University of Wisconsin and is a CFA charter holder since 1996.
