David Andrew Furfine

Mr. David A.
Furfine, CFA, is a Partner & Director of Fixed Income at Sawgrass Asset Management LLC.
He directs the firm's fixed income management and research efforts, and is the lead portfolio manager for all of the firm’s fixed income products.
Mr. Furfine is responsible for interest rate analysis and portfolio construction.
He serves on several of the firm’s committees, including strategic planning and chair of the firm’s fixed income investment committee Prior to joining Sawgrass, Mr. Furfine spent four years with Barnett Capital Advisors, Inc., where he oversaw all investments in mortgage-backed securities and a variety of fixed income portfolios and eight years at Prudential Home Mortgage Company managing all trading and hedging activities and a mortgage portfolio of over $10 billion.
He received his BS in Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and and earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from The CFA Institute (formerly AIMR), of which he is a member.
Mr. Furfine is also a member and has served as a former President of the Jacksonville Financial Analysts Society.
