David B. Poor

David Poor joined Parkmead in January 2007 as a Senior Advisor, after more than 18 years in investment banking.
During a career first at Morgan Stanley and then Merrill Lynch, David Poor has provided to clients worldwide a variety of strategic and financial advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and international debt and equity offerings.
His management roles have included: head of Morgan Stanley’s operations in Australasia; Head of Investment Banking, Merrill Lynch Asia; Head of Merrill Lynch Technology Banking, Americas; and member of the Merrill Lynch Investment Banking Management Committee.
In addition to his career in investment banking, David Poor has been involved in philanthropy and private investing, and serves on a number of boards.
David is Chairman of GP Capital Partners LLC, a US based Corporate Advisory firm with offices located in Boston and London.
David Poor holds a BA from Harvard University, an MPA from George Washington University, and an MBA from Stanford University
