Société Générale Gestion SA (S2G) is the wholly-owned asset management subsidiary of Amundi Asset Management SA, itself a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole SA (EPA: ACA, ADR: CRARY) in France. The firm was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Paris. They are the successor to SGAM-Société Générale Asset Management SA, founded in 1997 to take over the asset management activities of Société Générale. In 2009 SGAM absorbed their alternative management subsidiary, Barep Asset Management SA. S2G has specific expertise in employee savings plan management and manages discretionary accounts as well as a range of comingled products. Their clients are French companies and institutions, including associations.
