Gabelli Natural Resources Gold & Income Trust is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. Its primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income from interest, dividends and option premiums. The Fund intends to invest at least 80% of its assets in income producing securities, such as equity, convertible and other securities of companies, which are engaged in the natural resources and gold industries. It intends to invest at least 25% of its assets in the securities of companies, which are engaged in the exploration, production or distribution of natural resources as well as related transportation companies and equipment manufacturers and at least 25% of investments in the securities of companies principally engaged in the exploration, mining, fabrication, processing, distribution or trading of gold or gold-related activities. The company was founded on June 26, 2008 and is headquartered in Rye, NY.
