Mr. David Loehwing is a Head of Sustainability & Stewardship at Impax Asset Management LLC.
He is responsible for overseeing Impax’s sustainability and ESG research and development of its methodologies, as well as engagement and stewardship across Impax portfolios.
David leads on Impax’s internal sustainability frameworks including the construction and management of Impax’s Systematic ESG Rating and the Impax Gender Score
Mr. Loehwing has worked in the sustainable investing field since 1998.
Before joining the firm, he served as Senior Social Research Analyst at Citizens Advisers, and as a Senior Account Manager at the Investor Responsibility Research Center (IRRC).
He is also a former member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Advisory Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility (ACCSR) and the Sustainable Investment Research Analyst Network’s (SIRAN) steering committee.
He received his BA degree in Sociology from Bowdoin College.
