Prior to joining Pegasus in 2008, Mr. Martus was a Senior Portfolio Manager with Colorado PERA, where he was responsible for management, on a team basis, of a $4.6 billion global portfolio of private equity, venture capital, distressed debt, mezzanine, oil & gas and timber investments.
Mr. Martus was a member of the Investment Committee and his core portfolio functions included selection and oversight of partnership investments, co- investments and relationships with fund managers.
Prior to Colorado PERA, Mr. Martus worked for Portfolio Management Consultants and Salomon Smith Barney, both in Denver.
Mr. Martus holds a BS and MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
