Prior to joining PCP, Mr. Walker was a founding Partner at Grotevant Walker Research Partners, a provider of private, independent advice to institutional investors on media and telecom across all asset classes.
Prior to GWRP, he was a Managing Director and the Co-Head of North American High Yield Research at JP Morgan Securities, Inc., where he had primary coverage responsibility for Media and Cable/Satellite.
Mr. Walker covered the same sectors at Toronto Dominion Securities (USA) Inc, before moving to JPM.
He has been cited several times in Institutional Investor’s annual survey, including two #1 rankings in Media and one #2 ranking in Cable/Satellite.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
He received his Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College at the University of Toronto in 1988.
