Dennis Wilde

Mr. Dennis Wilde is an Advisor at Pivotal Investments LLC.
In addition to current job he is Principal Gerding Edlen Development which exists to do one simple thing: to create vibrant, sustainable and inspiring places where people can work, learn and live.
In 2007, Gerding Edlen was recognized by the US Green Building Council as the developer of the largest number of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) buildings in the country.
Mr. Wilde's passion for sustainable urban development runs deep.
From his graduate studies in architecture and urban planning to his current role at Gerding Edlen, environmental responsibility and smart design are central to his philosophy.
He first realized the possibilities of sustainability from a business perspective while attending a workshop on the Natural Step in 1997, the same year he joined Gerding Edlen.
Dennis was drawn to the company because of the ethical standards that Bob and Mark articulated and employed in all of their dealings.
As Gerding Edlen's designated "green guy", Dennis has encouraged increased sustainability in development projects while building a strong business case for the economic and social benefits of environmental responsibility.
Dennis' responsibilities include feasibility studies, management of the pre-construction process and overall project management.
He is also an active board member of the Oregon Natural Step Network.
Mr. Wilde's is passionate about design as well, believing that it is an expression of man's highest aspirations.
He has more than 20 years of experience in urban planning and design, and has been active in construction and real estate development since 1967.
He earned a degree in Architectural Engineering from Washington State University, as well as master's degrees in architecture and urban planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
