Douglas Lochhead

Douglas is the General Counsel of Adamantem Capital.
Douglas is an English and NSW qualified lawyer with almost 30 years’ experience in banking and financial services law.
Before joining Adamantem he was Senior Legal Counsel and then Head of Legal and Tax for Investec Australia, where he also led strategic projects such as restructurings and changes to operating models.
Douglas trained at Linklaters in London and New York, and has worked at KWM on two separate occasions, most recently as a Special Counsel.
He spent three years as a Partner at Harbottle & Lewis, a boutique London law firm, where he ran the aviation and finance practice and was on the firm’s management committee.
He has a Master of Arts in Economics (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh.
