Edmund Tatar

Mr. Tatar joined Republic in July 2005 as an Associate in the Aviation & Portfolio Group.
In October 2006, Mr. Tatar was promoted to Associate Director, Capital Markets.
His responsibilities include fund raising and supporting the transaction process of the Aviation & Portfolio Group.
Prior to joining Republic, Mr. Tatar worked for seven years at American Airlines in a variety of finance and planning roles.
Most recently, he was Manager of Airline Profitability and Financial Analysis, with responsibility for industry competitive studies, route profitability, and strategic financial analysis.
During his tenure at American, Mr. Tatar also held positions in Corporate Development and Fleet Planning.
In Corporate Development, he directed projects relating to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments in other companies.
In Fleet Planning, he was involved in developing the fleet plan for the world’s largest airline fleet.
Mr. Tatar holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
