Allen is Co-Founder & Partner at Metis Capital Management LLC.
Prior to co-founding Metis Capital Management in 2004, Ms. Allen has investment experience in both large and small firm environments.
Before that, she was an investment associate at Barber Investment Counsel, a small advisory in San Francisco that excelled in conservative long-term investment advice for high net worth individuals and institutions.
Her duties included researching across a wide selection of sectors and industries, as well as being operations manager for the firm.
She began her career at Salomon Smith Barney as a portfolio associate; among other responsibilities she validated risk assessment for new accounts.
Ms. Allen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University in 1997, and is fluent in Spanish.
