Eric Bradford Derrington

Derrington, CFA, is a Senior Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager at Whittier Trust Co. and a Vice President & Portfolio Manager at Whittier Ventures LLC.
He has been with Whittier Trust Company since 2006.
In addition to being a member of the Investment Committee, he is responsible for analyzing companies in the financial sector for Whittier Trust Company’s large cap and small cap core equity strategies.
He heads the alternatives asset platform for Whittier Trust Company, which encompasses private equity, private debt, opportunistic investments, and various hedge fund strategies.
Mr. Derrington began his career as an investment and wealth management consultant with Asset Strategies Group.
He worked with high net worth individuals, foundations, and qualified plan sponsors in the development of strategic asset allocations and the evaluating of investment managers.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Hillsdale College.
He is a CFA charterholder.
