Evelyn E. Handler

Evelyn E.
Handler served as the President of Brandeis University from 1983 to 1992 and as the Chief Executive Officer of The California Academy of Sciences from 1994 to 1997.
She also worked as the Director of The Student Loan Corp.
from 1993 to 2010 and as the President of the University of New Hampshire from 1980 to 1983.
Additionally, she was a Professor and Dean of Sciences & Mathematics at Hunter College and a Member of the Governors Board at the New York Academy of Sciences.
Handler received her undergraduate degree from Hunter College, her graduate degree from Franklin Pierce College, and her doctorate from New York University.
