Hotung International Co. Ltd. (HIC) is an affiliate of the venture capital group Hotung Investment Holdings Ltd. (SG: H34), which operates in Taiwan, in Silicon Valley (US) and in Shanghai. The group is also active in Japan, South Korea, and Germany through strategic alliances. The Hotung group originated in 1987, was reorganized in 1997 upon public listing and the venture capital fund management activities were transferred to the newly-established HIC.
