Gerald M. Daniello

Mr. Daniello is Vice Chairman and Head of Sponsor Coverage for Cerberus Business Finance, the Firm’s middle-market direct lending platform.
In his role, Mr. Daniello helps in the management of the platform and is responsible for organizing and overseeing the business’ sponsor coverage, including its marketing efforts and direct origination activities.
He is also actively involved in the platform’s fundraising process.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Daniello was responsible for originating and managing a portfolio of investments within the Cerberus Business Finance portfolio.
Since joining the firm in 2003, Mr. Daniello has been central in establishing Cerberus Business Finance as a recognized leader and innovator in the leveraged financed industry.
With one of the largest origination platforms in the United States, Cerberus Business Finance has provided financing to more than 245 financial sponsors.
Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Daniello was a Managing Director at GE Capital from 1996 to 2003, where he was responsible for a $2 billion portfolio of equity, distressed debt, and leveraged debt.
Prior to GE Capital, he led the New England Corporate Finance Group at Chase Manhattan Bank, where he was responsible for a multi-billion dollar portfolio of leveraged and non-leveraged cash flow and asset-based loans to middle-market companies.
Mr. Daniello graduated from Lafayette College and received an M.B.A.
from Temple University.
