Headquartered in London, Moody's Investors Service provides credit ratings, research, and risk analysis. Credit ratings and research help investors analyze the credit risks associated with fixed-income securities. Such independent credit ratings and research also contribute to efficiencies in fixed-income markets and other obligations, such as insurance policies and derivative transactions, by providing credible and independent assessments of credit risk.

Legal & General Investment Management Ltd. (LGIM) is a fund management firm headquartered in London. The firm was founded in 1970 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Legal & General Investment Management (Holdings) Ltd., which is owned by Legal & General Group plc (LSE: LGEN, ADR: LGGNY). LGIM provides investment management services to pension funds, institutional and private clients. Their clients are primarily in Great Britain, and marginally in the US though their Chicago-based subsidiary LGIM America, which established in 2006.
