Prior to joining Citadel, from 2004-2012 he was the Senior Analyst responsible for all financial services investments at Suffolk Capital Management, which at the time was a subsidiary of Ohio National Financial Services.
Prior to joining Suffolk, from 1999-2004, he was a member of the Investment Banking Department at Merrill Lynch & Co. (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch), where he rose to the rank of Director.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, from 1993-1999, he was a member of the Investment Banking Department at The First Boston Company (now Credit Suisse), where he rose to the rank of Associate and worked exclusively within that Department’s Insurance Group, providing merger advisory, capital raising, demutualization and related services for the firm’s insurance clients.
He graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
