Hani Halawani

Mr. Hani Halawani is a Chief Executive Officer at Alsubeaei Mohammed & Sons Investment Co. (Invt Mgmt).
He joined firm on August 1, 2021.
Before joining firm, he was at the Saudi Arabian Investment Company (Sanabil Investments) from 2012 to 2021 where he was Head of Direct Investments until 2018 and Chief Investment Officer until his departure in July 2021.
Mr. Halawani began his career as an Instrumentation Engineer at Saudi Aramco in 1998.
Between 1999 and 2005, he worked in the Structured and Project Finance Department at Banque Saudi Fransi, and subsequently joined the World Bank Group in Washington, DC in 2005 initially as an Infrastructure Finance Specialist and later as an Investment Officer in the International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group.
His tenure at the World Bank Group included assignments in Vietnam, Indonesia, and China.
In 2008, he returned to Riyadh where he became Senior Vice President at Amwal Alkhaleej Commercial Investment Company until 2011.
He previously served as a director on the board of many private and public sector companies, including Bakheet Investment Group, Gulf Insulation Group, Alrowad Education Company, National Water Company, Ebrahim M.
Almana & Brothers Company, and Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Halawani graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering (magna cum laude) in 1998 and received an MBA from the Yale University School of Management in 2004.
