Hideo Morimoto

Prior to joining Mitsui & Co. Technology Investment Group, Mr. Morimoto was the sales and marketing manager of IT Solution Division at Mitsui, where he was responsible for new business development and investment in U.S.
networking equipment startups seeking to enter the Japanese market.
He has a successful track record of setting up distribution channels in Japan for U.S.
startup companies such as Aruba Wireless Networks, Inc. Mr. Morimoto also has experience in founding a B2B e-commerce startup between Mitsui, Itochu Corporation, Orix Corporation, Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance Co., Ltd.
in Japan.
He played a key role in this joint venture and served as the general manager of the System Development Division for the company.
He has also worked in the Information and Communication Systems Division of Mitsui, where he led several open system and network integration projects.
Mr. Morimoto holds a Bachelor of Law degree and a Master of Media and Governance degree from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
