Headquartered in Edinburgh, the firm was formed following the 2008 merger of Resolution Asset Management and Axial Investment Management. They can trace their origins since 1986. IIS offered tailor-made and pooled solutions for small- to medium-sized pension schemes. Resolution Asset Management Ltd. (RAM) is the Glasgow, Scotland-based asset management subsidiary of Ignis Investment Services Ltd., ultimately owned by Pearl Group Ltd. in the UK. Formerly known as Britannic Asset Management Ltd., RAM can trace their origins back to The Foreman and Staff Mutual Benefit Society, established in 1899, and became an independent asset management firm in 1983. In 2006 Britannic Asset Management changed their name to Resolution Asset Management. RAM's core areas of expertise are UK equities, international equities, fixed-income and specialist funds. Their liability-driven investment franchise represents a major part of their strategy both in tailor-made solutions and in their pooled solution, called Reliability, for small- to medium-sized pension schemes.

Williams de Broë Ltd. (WDB) is the wholly-owned investment management subsidiary of Investec Wealth & Investment Ltd., itself a subsidiary of Investec Plc in Great Britain. Founded in 1869, WDB is based in London, and has additional offices in Birmingham, Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Exeter, Bath and Guildford. The firm specializes in managing money for private investors, offering private portfolio management, discretionary management and financial advisory services. They also manage a range of mutual funds.

Merian Global Investors (UK) Ltd. (MGI-UK) is an investment management firm headquartered in London, UK. The firm was founded in 1994 as Minkgrove Ltd. and they became Old Mutual Global Investors (UK) Ltd. in 2012 after the merger of Skandia Investment Group and Old Mutual Asset Managers (UK) Ltd. They renamed into Merian Global Investors (UK) Ltd. in 2018. The firm is a direct subsidiary of Jupiter Fund Management Plc (LON: JUP), which acquired the firm in 2020. MGI-UK provides asset management services to sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, family offices and other financial institutions.
