J. Steve Manolis

Steve Manolis is a Director at Checchi Capital Advisers LLC.
He oversees all sales and marketing on the East Coast, with specific focus on New York and Florida.
In addition to his position at CCA, he is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Manolis & Company LLC.
Mr. Manolis became the youngest General Partner at Salomon Brothers in 1980, and was named head of Salomon’s multi-disciplinary Global Real Estate Department in 1984.
During his tenure he established and managed ten offices in the US, Europe, and Asia, closing over $100 billion of debt and equity transactions.
In 1979, Mr. Manolis was one of the three Founding Partners of the Mortgage Securities Group, which pioneered securitization for the residential and commercial mortgage markets.
He was council member and chairman of the advisory board of The National Academy of Design, where he was given the honorary Man of the Year Award in 2006.
Mr. Manolis is a member of The Metropolitan Club, The Atlantic Golf Club (where he was one of the first ten Founding Members and Chairman of the Admissions Committee), and Emerald Dunes Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Mr. Manolis received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota in 1970, Steve served as an Artillery Lieutenant in the US Army until 1972.
He received his MBA from the University of Chicago in 1975.
