James Rossiter

Mr. James Rossiter is a Head of Global Macro Strategy at TD Securities Ltd.
In his role, he provides research and analysis to both internal and external clients, with a focus on global macroeconomic trends and key European markets.
Mr. Rossiter joined TD Securities in October 2015 after spending 13 years at the Bank of Canada, where he held increasingly senior positions on both the domestic and international macroeconomic forecasting teams.
In his most recent role, he helped oversee the Canadian projection team and provided policy recommendations to the Governing Council.
Following an exchange at the European Central Bank in 2009, he went on a two-year secondment to the Bank of England in 2012, where he was part of the team producing the macroeconomic forecast for the Monetary Policy Committee.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Alberta.
