He joined Kidder, Peabody & Co. in Philadelphia.
In 1984, he began a twenty-year affiliation with Alex.
Brown & Sons (and its successor firms) where he was privileged to serve as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee.
This committee, working with the firm’s Research Department, had a remarkable record of out-performance (versus general market indices).
From 2004 to 2006, he worked with Legg Mason & Co. (which became Citibank Smith Barney).
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School (BS, Economics) in 1970.
