Jean M. McGowan

Ms. Jean M.
McGowan, CFA MBA, is a Chief Investment Officer at Godsey & Gibb, Inc. She joined the firm in n February 2014 with over 23 years of experience in the investment industry.
As Chief Investment Officer, Ms. McGowan is responsible for overseeing the research and portfolio management process.
She is also a member of the Investment Strategy Group, providing research, analysis and commentary on the economy, the financial markets, individual securities, investment strategies and asset allocation.
Jean is a member of the Executive Management Team.
Prior to joining the firm, Jean worked as a Portfolio Specialist and Relationship Manager for a large Institutional Asset Management firm, as well as a Portfolio Manager in the Investment Division of an Insurance Company.
She also served as an Adjunct Professor for the Virginia Commonwealth University Executive MBA program and an advisor to the Student Managed Investment Portfolio.
She received her graduate degree from Elon University and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
