Jerry Michaud

Prior to Horizon Tech Finance, Mr. Michaud was the Senior Vice President of GATX Ventures.
Prior to that, he was a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Transamerica Technology Finance.
Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Financing for Science International, a venture finance and healthcare leasing company that was ultimately acquired.
In addition, Mr. Michaud founded and served as President of Venture Leasing and Capital, one of the first companies to provide venture debt financing to early-stage venture capital-backed companies.
He has published numerous articles on venture lending for major trade publications and has served as panelist and moderator at trade association and finance conferences.
Mr. Michaud attended Northeastern University, Rutgers University and the University of Phoenix, completed a formal commercial credit training program with Shawmut Bank and has taken executive courses at Harvard Business School.
