Jim Magee

Jim Magee is the Chief Investment Officer and General Counsel of Manti Resources, including its subsidiary Manti Ventures, and a managing member of Malibu IQ.
Mr. Magee manages the investments of Manti Resources outside of core exploration and production operations.
He supervises and is responsible for all legal, regulatory and risk management activities worldwide.
Before joining Manti, Mr. Magee was a partner in the law firm of Baldwin & Hapsel in New Orleans and was a member of the firm Management Committee for years.
He is a two time award winner from Meritas, an international organization of leading law firms,for his efforts in the legal profession.
In 2003, Mr. Magee was inducted in the Drew University Athletic Hall of Fame.
Mr. Magee obtained a JD from Louisiana State University and received the Exxon Legal Scholarship Award.
He graduated from Drew University in 1979 with honors.
