Jimmy Phua

Mr. Jimmy Phua is a Managing Director at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Private Investments and a Managing Director & Head of Real Estate at CPPIB Asia, Inc. He is responsible for real estate investments in Asia and has lived and worked in Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Phua worked with several leading real estate companies, including ING Real Estate, and was responsible for setting up ING Real Estate’s business in South Korea.
He holds a BS in Estate Management (First Class Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an MBA in International Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
