Joe Voet

Prior to joining Cobalt Capital in 2010, Mr. Voet was President of DBVK Capital Management, a commercial real estate consulting firm based in Chicago.
He also worked for two years at Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Market Group, where he was responsible for institutional industrial dispositions and seven years at Duke Realty Corporation where he was responsible for the acquisition, development and leasing within Duke’s Chicago 8.0 million square foot industrial portfolio.
He began his career in public accounting with both Deloitte & Touché and obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant.
He has several years of real estate investment, finance and asset management experience in both the private and public REIT sectors.
Mr. Voet received a MS in Real Estate and an MBA in Finance, both from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, along with a BA in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana.
