John Cornford

John Cornford is a Chartered Engineer who spent his early working life in the Royal Navy and industry before becoming one of the City’s leading research analysts in the engineering sector.
He has worked with some of the City’s most respected firms, including Kleinwort Grieveson (now Dresdner Kleinwort), Beeson Gregory and The Analyst magazine.
His sector knowledge has grown, meanwhile, to encompass electronic hardware, marketing, financial companies, security companies and (of course) the defence industry.
He has also over the years provided investment recommendations for a number of the better known equity market newsletters.
John has an extensive knowledge of opera, reads widely, and keeps a number of cats.
