John Hugh Phillips

Phillips is a Principal, Chief Compliance Officer & Investment Systems at Northside Capital Management LLC.
He focuses on many operational and compliance related activities within the firm, assuring our portfolio accounting systems and processes are up to date and operating in an efficient and legally compliant manner.
He is based in the firm's Hood River, Oregon office.
He has been with the firm since 2001.
Prior to joining Northside, Mr. Phillips worked as a personal financial planner providing financial services to individuals and businesses through Northwestern Mutual.
He spent the earlier part of his career working as an accountant and information technology manager for several privately held manufacturing companies.
Mr. Philips holds an MBA from Seattle University and a B.S.
in Accounting and Business Administration from Kansas University.
Mr. Philips is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
