Immediately prior to joining Growthworks, Mr. Proven was the Publisher and General Manager of Canstar Community News Limited with operations in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay.
As a Treasury Board Analyst with the Province of Manitoba in the mid-1990's Mr. Proven gained an understanding of government decision making processes and the important role that provincial government agencies play in relation to private enterprise.
Mr. Proven is active in the community as a member of the United Way of Winnipeg Campaign Cabinet, a Director of the Associates, I.H.
Asper School of Business, a director of the Prairie Theatre Exchange, and co-Chair of St. Mr. Proven Brebeuf School Board.
