The firm was founded by Johnny Gibson and Syed Rizvi in 2006 as AlphaGen Asset Management LLC. Haven Private offers investment advisory services to individuals, pension and profit-sharing plans, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, corporations, and other business entities.

Dominari Securities LLC (Investment Management) (DS-IM) is the investment management division of Dominari Securities LLC, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer headquartered in New York City. The firm was founded in 1986 and formerly known as Fieldpoint Private Securities LLC. They were acquired by Dominari Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: DOMH) in 2023. As a result of the ownership change the new name of the firm has been changed to Dominari Securities LLC, a subsidiary of Dominari Financial, Inc. DS-IM provides discretionary and non-discretionary investment management and advice to individuals and entities controlled by individuals, such as pension plans, IRAs and trusts.
