José Maria de Macedo

Mr. Maria de Macedo is Chief Distribution and Sales Director of CEMIG.
Previously, he served as Chief Engineer of the Production and Transmission from 1970 to 1973, Assistant Engineer for the Regional Systems Department in 1973, Chief Engineer of the Western Regional System in Divinópolis from 1973 to 1986, Assistant Engineer for Production and Transmission Management Coordination in the Production and Transmission Director’s office from 1990 to 1992 and Engineer in charge of the Special Advisory Staff for Planning and Management in the Production and Transmission Director’s Office in 1992 and Superintendent of Transmission from 1992 to 1994, and President of UNIENGE – Engineering Services Cooperative Ltd.
Earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from UFMG – Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
