Mr. Ken O'Kennedy, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer at Dixon Mitchell Investment Counsel, Inc. He takes the lead in fundamental analysis, applying his expertise in business analysis, valuation, and risk management to build comprehensive models used in the firm’s stock evaluation process.
He also brings extensive experience in fixed income analysis and contributes this to the management of bond portfolios at Dixon Mitchell.
Mr. O'Kennedy began his career investing in commercial real estate on behalf of Canadian and US pension funds.
In late 1998, he became an Equity Analyst at a Vancouver-based investment management firm and was later recruited by the asset management division of an international bank, where he assumed the role of Portfolio Manager.
He received his BA in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario.
