Leon Starr

Dr. Starr is a senior executive who has held significant positions at both the corporate as well as operating company levels.
From 1986-1990, Dr. Starr was the President of the Research Division and corporate Vice President of Technology for Hoechst Celanese.
Prior to that, Dr. Starr was President of Celanese Research Company.
Dr. Starr has particular expertise in technology, management, planning, organization structure, communications, strategy development and environmental issues.
He has negotiated licensing/joint venture agreements throughout Europe and Japan.
Presently Dr. Starr is President of Lee Starr Associates a consulting firm specializing in strategic technology/business management, R&D organization planning, R&D commercialization and environmental management.
Dr. Starr received his Ph.D.
in Organic Chemistry at the University of Missouri and his B.S.
in Chemistry at Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.
