In 1999, the firm produced 426,000 MT, down from 1.7 million MT in 1998. All of the company's production was for export. Its relatively high quality coal can be processed into three different products such as steam coal with heat value (HV) of 6,900 Kcal/kg, Pulverized Coal Injection (PCI) with HV of 7,200 kcal/kg, and lump coal for household use with a 50-mm sized product.
