Aprius is a venture-backed company developing technology to bring the performance advantage of PCIe Express to the Ethernet network. Aprius technology extends a server's internal PCIe bus out over the Ethernet network, enabling groups of servers to access and share network-attached pools of PCIe Express devices at near-native PCIe performance levels. Aprius technology enables server vendors to build dense slot-less servers with virtual I/O by connecting the servers to needed PCIe devices such as SAN HBAs, Disk Controllers, and PCIe SSDs over the Ethernet fabric.
