Mr. D'Andrea has been working with Riverview since November 2003.
As a member of the Investment Committee, he is tasked with day to day manager selection, portfolio construction, and due diligence responsibilities.
He coordinates all liquidity, investor flow, investment dealing issues, and required currency hedging for funds and separate accounts.
He is also responsible for operational due diligence on prospective and invested managers.
Mr. D'Andrea also oversees the client service and sales practices of Riverview as the FINRA registered principal of Nationwide Fund Distributors LLC, branch office in Red Bank.
He has over 18 years experience in analyzing risks in alternative investment strategies, both as an investor and financier of such strategies.
Prior to contracting with Riverview, Mr. D'Andrea was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital, where he was head of Global Prime Brokerage Services.
In this capacity he was responsible for sales, client service, risk management and lending practices of Barclays' Prime Brokerage group to the hedge fund community.
He helped develop many of the bank's lending, collateral and risk management policies to hedge funds.
Prior to Barclays, he was Executive Vice President at Daiwa Securities America (1995 to 1998) (U.S.
Head of Prime Brokerage and Securities Lending) and prior to this, Vice President at Morgan Stanley & Co. (1986 to 1995).
Mr. D'Andrea holds a B.S in Finance and Economics from Lehigh University (Class of 1985).
His FINRA registrations are 7, 63, 24, and 4.
