Christy is Chief Operating Officer at La Fayette Investment Management (UK) Ltd.
Mr. Christy has worked in the finance industry since 1983 and joined La Fayette in May 2012.
His key focus is the organization and co-ordination of the various operations and financial fields of the firm.
Prior to La Fayette, he has worked in two hedge funds namely, Hazel Capital LLP (Equity Long / Short) and Plutus Capital (Convertible Arbitrage).
Previously, Mr. Christy was heavily involved with the hedge fund industry from the sell side and held a number of senior positions including Northern Trust as a Senior Vice President of Derivatives Development/Project Management, Commerzbank New York as Hedge Fund Product Development Manager and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York and London as a Vice President, Head of Client Relations and Head of Operations within a division providing products to hedge fund clients.
Prior to his hedge fund focus, Mr. Christy concentrated on operational issues across a wide product base at both Barclays DeZoete Wedd and Laurie Milbank.
