Mr. Markus R.
Schomer, CFA, is a Chief Economist at PineBridge Investments LLC.
He is responsible for developing economic forecasts, analysis, and market commentary for all investment groups within the firm.
As a member of various investment committees, Mr. Schomer is involved in developing the firm’s broad portfolio strategies.
Previously, Mr. Schomer worked at the firm’s London office, where he also managed various fixed income portfolios and as a fixed income analyst at Commerzbank in Frankfurt, Germany.
He holds degrees in economics from the University of Bonn in Germany and the University of East Anglia in the UK.
He also studied at the London School of Economics.
He is a CFA charterholder.
