Matthew Bender

Matthew Bender joined Gryphon Gold Corporation in September 2005 as Vice President in charge of the Borealis Project Development and was promoted to Vice President on September 12, 2006.
He joined Outokumpu in May 2000 as the Principal Process Engineer.
Mr. Bender joined Washington Group International, Inc. in November 2002 as a Director of Business Development-Mining and then as Director of Project Development and Mineral Processing.
He joined SME, Colorado Section Board of Directors in 1999 and was Chairman from 2002 to 2006.
Mr. Bender received a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1987 and an MBA from the University of Nevada in 1993.
