Michael Cheng

Michael Cheng is Senior Vice President of Finance and Tax.
In this capacity he oversees finance and all tax matters and structured transactions for the Company including tax compliance and planning for managed entities.
Michael has significant experience in the oil & natural gas industry.
Prior to joining EnerVest, he served as Director of Tax at Linn Energy LLC.
Prior to that, he worked as Tax Accounting Manager at Transocean Ltd and Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of Tax Executives Institute.
Michael earned a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Texas A&M University -Kingsville and a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture from Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute.
