Michael Crandall

Michael is a Founder & Managing Partner at North Grove Real Estate Capital where he leads general corporate strategy and growth and oversees all investment activity including implementation of investment strategies, strategic capital pursuits, structuring joint venture partnerships along with debt and equity capitalization.
For the ten years prior to founding North Grove, Michael spent time both as a Managing Partner at a national real estate syndication platform as well as General Counsel and Partner at a real estate private equity firm.
Throughout his diverse experience Michael has developed enduring relationships with operating partners and investors, and helped establish a robust, diverse portfolio of real estate investments on behalf of hundreds of high-net-worth investors.
Before his experience in private equity, Michael spent 4 years in the Real Estate Group of DLA Piper’s Chicago office.
Michael received his J.D.
from the University of Chicago’s School of Law and his B.S.
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
