Michael Warren Griswold

Mr. Michael W.
Griswold, CFA, is a Managing Director of Strategy & Risk Management at Ascension Investment Management LLC.
He is responsible for leading the asset allocation and risk management processes across all client portfolios with respect to their unique objectives, benchmarks, and constraints.
Through portfolio construction and ongoing analysis, he and his team ensure that the best thinking of the firm’s investment professionals is effectively and efficiently translated into results for their clients.
He has over 19 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining Ascension Investment Management, Mr. Griswold served as a Vice President in the Investment Strategy and Solutions Group at BNY Mellon Investment Management, where he developed asset allocation solutions for the firm’s largest institutional clients based on the group’s proprietary research frameworks.
He previously served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Scholtz & Company LLC, a registered investment advisor in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Mr. Griswold holds a B.S.
in Business Economics from Miami University, Oxford, OH, and a M.S.
in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA.
He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of St Louis.
