In the past, he served as the Chairman of Electricity Generation Co. of Bangladesh Ltd.
for a brief period in 2021.
He was also a Director at Dhaka Electric Supply Co., Ltd.
from 2009 to 2013, and a Director at Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Co. Pvt Ltd.
from 2020 to 2021.
Additionally, he served as a Director at Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh Ltd.
from 2019 to 2020.
Mr. Nurul Alam has a graduate degree from BRAC University and both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Dhaka.
