Previously, she was a Vice President at the Boston Company, where she managed trust accounts and served as a senior fiduciary counselor to the Trust and Investment Division and to Shearson Lehman Trust Company, a subsidiary of the Boston Company.
Other experience includes affiliations with Bank of New England as a Senior Financial Planning Officer and American National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago as head of the Trust Legal Division.
Ms. Nichols also practiced law at the Chicago law firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt, specializing in estate planning, probate, and individual taxation and was an estate planning faculty member of the Northwestern University American Bankers Association Trust School.
She currently does not practice law and is not an attorney at Eaton Vance.
She advises clients on the coordination of their investment and estate plans.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin and her JD degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
