Olivier Garceau

Olivier joined Boreal Ventures' Investment team in 2021 and quickly rose to Principal for his skills in guiding investment decisions.
He now spearheads strategic initiatives to position Boreal Ventures at the center of Canada's Deeptech ecosystem while also identifying the most promising companies with the potential to make significant societal impact.
Before joining Boreal Ventures, Olivier completed his studies in business administration at McGill University.
He kickstarted his career at KPMG in the audit team, and later transitioned to the Transactional Services Strategy team.
During this time, Olivier also co-founded the KPMG Ventures program, demonstrating his passion for nurturing startups and engaging with the Montreal startup community to foster innovation and growth
