AlpInvest Partners, Inc. (AlpInvest) is the New York City private equity subsidiary of Netherlands-based AlpInvest Partners BV, ultimately held by The Carlyle Group LP (NASDAQ: CG). Established in 1999 as NIB Capital Private Equity, the firm became AlpInvest Partners in 2004.
